Santa Cruz also employed legendary artist Jim Phillips to create most of the brands early graphics. Most notably their iconic "Screaming Hand" graphic.

Speed Wheels

OJ Wheels was established by NHS in the 1970's with the OJ Wheels logo and original art direction coming from legendary skate artist Jim Phillips. In the 1980's, NHS introduced Slime Balls and Bullet series wheels and therefore created Speed Wheels as an umbrella for their various wheel lines.
